As everybody was expecting, once again, Google has revised its Page Rank in its latest Google Dance. While my website has achieved a PageRank 1 from PageRank 0, my blog has managed to grab a 2 outta nowhere. Call me demanding or what you would like, I’m not too excited about this improvement as I was expecting a 2 or 3 if not 4 or 5. But anyways, as they say, something is better than nothing and Rome wasn’t built….

Nobody knows the mystery surrounding the concept of PageRank but everybody is quite excited and Google has this seemingly weird array of reasons to assign a certain PageRank to websites and blogs. Getting a high PageRank augurs well for websites in many ways. For a starter, it adds to the credibility factor, and then you get more business which invariably translates into higher revenues. So how does this renewed PageRank 1 help my website to get more business? Well, I don’t really know if my prospects would be really impressed with it either. All I can swear by as of now is the SERP rankings of a number of keywords that my site is ranking top ten for. I really haven’t gone through them yet and I just hope they are fine.

The post-Google Dance period is always agog with reviews, comments, discussion especially on the forum sites across the web. If you have any of them and you would like share what happened to your sites or blogs this Google Dance, I would be keen on listening to you. Bring it on…
